Every healthcare organization must have  vision statement to guide it. Mission and vision statements often come in a variety of formats. Only when there is alignment between the nurse administrator and the organizational mission and vision statement, there is synergy and a sense of purpose.For example, knowing where the organization wants to go assists nurse administrators in helping meet the mission and vision statement through the tasks they undertake along with their subordinates.
