Western European Culture

The narrative of Western European history, as well as that of the United   States, often starts with the legacies of the Greeks and the Romans. However,   this legacy was largely lost to Europe until the eleventh and twelfth   centuries. Examine the impact that the reintroduction of Greek knowledge via   the Arabic world had on Western Europe with regard to one of the following:

• Theology
• Medicine
• Physics
• Astronomy/Astrology
• Humanism
